- Computer-Based Test (CBT): 200 marks (objective; general intelligence & reasoning 50, GA 50, English 100); qualifying: 30% UR, 25% OBC/EWS, 20% others.
- Skill Test in Stenography (Qualifying): Grade C: 100 wpm (English/Hindi); Grade B: D: 80 wpm (English/Hindi) (10 min. dictation; 40% UR/EWS and 35% others pass marks).
- Document Verification (DV) by User Departments.
- Final Merit: Based on CBT marks (category-wise); all India service liability.
